This V250 was hijacked at Endaweni in Vosloorus, the owner was shot, fortunately he was taken to the hospital. The case was reported to Thatha-Zonke Sunday early hours of the morning.
Thatha Zonke members have been tracing and have been on the look out for it, until this afternoon when TTZ got a lead that someone posted a picture on Market Place of the same V250 saying stripping for parts. This member of the community informed TTZ and STT, and together they worked out a plan to go buy an A-Class tail light.
They were given an address somewhere in Joburg where they found a lady who was selling the tail light to them. She was then apprehended and told to call the dealer and he came through only to find TTZ members waiting for him.
He took them to Jeppie somewhere where they strip these stolen vehicles and found the doors, engen and lights of the very V250 that was hijacked in Vosloorus.
Three suspects were arrested in Jeppie, the case and the scene were handed over to the police who were very argumentative as to what should happen with the stripped vehicle. TTZ are somehow concerned if this case will be handled responsibly and those who continously harass and shoot our citizens for their belongings be brought to book and face the might of the law.
