The Gunners from 1 SA Tank Regiment have done it again. This time, they were called upon by members of the South African Police Services from Masisi Police Station for assistance who received a tip-off from the locals that there was a possible stolen vehicle in the area.
After a long and thorough search, and after combing the surrounding bushes, the joint operation finally bore fruits. An expensive and powerful Toyota Hilux Legend 2.8 GD -6, 2021 model, valued at R 749 990.00 was found abandoned in the bushes.
After the SA Police Service conducted their necessary procedures, the vehicle was confirmed as stolen. The vehicle was handed over to the SA Police Service Masisi.
