Golden Arrow Bus Service has condemned the latest attack on its busses in Nyanga this morning. Spokesperson Bronwyn Dyke-Beyer confirmed that four of its busses were set alight at the terminus this morning, reportedly in retaliation to the impounding of taxi’s in the area.
According to Dyke-Beyer, three busses were petrol-bombed on Govan Mbeki and Ems Drive at 9.30am, where no injuries were reported. A fourth bus has since been set alight along Eisleben and Sheffield roads, where the driver has suffered head injuries.
