SANDF Soldiers with SAPS have recovered multiple stolen and hijacked vehicles about to cross the South African border illegally into Mozambique.

In 3 weeks over 43 Undocumented foreigners arrested.
6 South African Infantry Battalion Bravo Company members are currently deployed under Joint Tactical Headquarters KwaZulu-Natal, the members are under the leadership of Captain R.C. Campher. The Company is deployed along the Republic of South Africa/Mozambique as part of the border safeguarding Operation CORONA. These alert and sharp soldiers have carried out their mission by denying adversaries/syndicates who are smuggling stolen and hijacked vehicles from crossing the Republic of South Africa border illegally into Mozambique. 

6 South African Infantry Battalion took over from 121 South African Infantry Battalion and has significantly produced success in a series of incidents. Bravo Company members in conjunction with Maritime Reaction Force over a period of 3 weeks of deployment, have intercepted vehicle crossings including counterfeit goods and arrested 43 Undocumented Persons.

The total monetary value of successful vehicles recovered is R 5 682 250.00.
