POLICE RECOVER 24 STOLEN VEHICLES IN 24 HOURS

GIYANI- The South African Police Service in conjunction with Willie K9 Anti-hijacking security  have recovered 24 stolen vehicles in an intelligence-driven operation targeting ‘backyard’ panel beaters, chop shops, tow-truck operators, and mechanical shops on Sunday Morning. 

The ongoing operation is an effort to fight back against vehicle theft - one of the biggest crimes in the province. 

So far the police have confirmed that 10 Toyota bakkies were recovered under Malumalele Policing,9 Toyota bakkies and 1 Ford recovered under Gyani Policing,1 Toyota under Saselamani,1 Toyota under Louis Trichard policing 1 under Polokwane, and 1 Bakkie under Burgersfort Policing. 

According to the police, this was the biggest recovery in Limpopo in a very long time. They are appealing to the public to assist in recovering Toyota JX26GMGP which was stolen.
